Setting up a an online account with your carrier and submitting your claims directly to them is the easiest and most efficient way to submit claims.

All claims must be filed within 90 Days of Initial Incident and Treatment.
Continuation of Care
Check your Policy Wording to see if your plan includes a "Benefit Period." This may extend your coverage for an illness or injury treated abroad for a set period after your return. To qualify, you must receive treatment outside the U.S., file a claim with the travel insurance carrier, and that claim must be approved and covered.

1. Seek Medical Care Immediately.
2. If possible, have your passport and Insurance ID Card with you.
3. Collect contact information for hospital and doctor to give to IMG
4. Call IMG to pre-certify and begin the Guarantee of Payment Process. This must be done within 48 hours.
5. Gather Documentation
6. Pay Provider
7. File a Claim. This must be done within 90 days.

Gather Treatment Information
In order to successfully file a claim, be sure that you gather all documentation from your treatment, including (but not limited to) lab work, test results, x-rays and scans, doctor's notes, itemized invoices and bills with diagnostic codes, and proof of payment.
