Prizes
In partnership with IMG, we are awarding $13,000 in grant funding to help mission-focused individuals and organizations leave a lasting mark for the Gospel.
- Two mission organizations will receive $3,500 each
- Six individual winners will receive $1,000 each to use for their upcoming mission, volunteer, or service trip.
Grants are awarded in the following categories:
- Short-term Individuals (less than 12 months)
- Long-term Individuals (12 months or greater)
- Organizations
All winners will be selected and announced on Thursday, October 16th, 2025.

Submission Guidelines
The 2025 Leave Your Mark Grant Contest is Open from August 1 to September 12 at 12 P.M. EST.
All winners will be selected and announced on Thursday, October 16th, 2025.
To enter, record a 1-2 minute video or write a 500-word essay and submit it using the buttons on this page. Your written or video essay should answer the following questions:
- For Organizations: “How is your organization working to overcome the
current obstacles impacting the world? How would this grant support your
continued global outreach efforts?” - For Individuals: “Explain why this mission, volunteer, or service trip is
important to you. How will this grant support you and your global outreach
efforts?”
Written Essays:
- should be 500 words or less, and
- can be typed directly into or copied and pasted into the submission form.
Video Essays:
- should be less than 3 minutes
- Should not include any inappropriate language, images, or sounds
- Should only include music and images to which you own the rights
- Videos need to be hosted on a site with shareable links (Youtube, Vimeo, etc).
- To submit, you will enter the sharing link into the form.
- Note: the video does not need to be publicly listed as long as the link is viewable.

Rules and Eligibility
The contest is open to participants worldwide; however, you must be at least 18 years of age to enter and not subject to 18 U.S.C. § 1033. Essays should be approximately 500 words in length and should be an original work of authorship. Videos and essays must not include intellectual property owned by other parties, or offensive, indecent, or objectionable material. The deadline to submit your video or essay to be eligible for the awards is Friday September 12th, 2025, at 12 p.m. Eastern Time. The winning videos and essays become works made for hire of MissionSafe (a Division of World Insurance Association, Inc.) and IMG. The Leave Your Mark Grant is an annual initiative by IMG and MissionSafe, aimed at empowering mission-focused individuals and organizations. Each year, selected winners receive financial support to aid their mission trips and outreach projects. By submitting a brief essay or video sharing their mission goals and impact, participants have the chance to win resources that will further their work and ministry. Beyond funding, winners also receive national promotion and recognition for their efforts, amplifying their mission's influence and reach across the globe.

Meet the 2024 Winners!
Mission of Hope works alongside local leaders in the Caribbean to transform lives through church advancement, education, and food security. Over the past 27 years, Mission of Hope has served millions of people by providing meals, medical treatment, education, and disaster response.

Ella Stuff
Ella Stuff lives in one of the most impoverished neighborhoods in her city helping provide resources for immigrants and refugees. The grant money will be used to provide school supplies and basic necessities for children such as winter coats and hygiene kits.

Kati Elizabeth
Kati is a long-term missionary with Global Frontier Missions. She trains and equips long-term missionaries while living and ministering in a Muslim neighborhood. Her goal is to equip and empower refugees to be able to return to their home country and spread the gospel.
