Answered Prayers in Haiti — Mission of Hope’s Leave Your Mark Story

Answered Prayers in Haiti — Mission of Hope’s Leave Your Mark Story

For Mission of Hope (a 2024 Leave Your Mark Grant Winner), serving in Haiti means addressing some of the toughest challenges: hunger, unrest, and limited access to education. Yet even in difficult circumstances, their teams continue to bring relief, resources, and opportunity to communities in need. Through faithful local leaders and global partners, Mission of Hope is feeding the hungry, educating children, and sharing Christ’s love across Haiti and the Caribbean.

“We’ve had moms waking up every day praying that their child will have a meal and a chance at school. This grant goes directly toward answering those needs.” — Drew Garrison, CSO

With nearly 5 million Haitians facing food insecurity, every resource counts. Thanks to local leadership and hundreds of Haitian staff, Mission of Hope continues to advance its ministry despite ongoing instability. The Leave Your Mark grant supported food distribution in camps, schools, and churches, directly impacting families in crisis.

A Trusted Partnership That Makes Serving Possible

In places like Haiti, where natural disasters or unrest can disrupt plans at any moment, safety and preparedness are essential. That’s why Mission of Hope partners with MissionSafe as its trusted international medical and travel insurance provider.

While the Mission of Hope teams focus on distributing meals and expanding education, MissionSafe helps provide the coverage that keeps them safe, allowing the work to continue with confidence. We are honored to play a small role in the work they are doing.
